Silver Comet Trail: a week later

Last week when we went down to Georgia to ride the Silver Comet trail, we wound up putting Karen's trike in the shop to be repaired and renting one for her to ride.

Well, they got the part and fixed her trike over the course of the past week so we were able to go down this weekend, pick up her trike, and go for another ride. This time we rode from the bike shop at mile marker 4.3 (or so) ten miles westward and back.

Somewhere around mile marker 13, we passed the "First Foot" of trail, matching the "Last Foot" of trail we saw last weekend, and I got a picture:


So the trail was started on July 9, 1998, and completed on August 29, 2008. It took ten years to complete.
